Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeppe Kausti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeppe Kausti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Gunn!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gunn feints and as Kausti raises his hands in defense, Gunn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gunn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Kausti keeping moving, preventing Gunn from controlling successfully.
Gunn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kausti is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gunn wants to control from the top but Kausti keeps moving.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Kausti moves into range and clinches up with Gunn.
Gunn keeps control of Kausti as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kausti wants to break the clinch but can't.
Gunn has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kausti avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Gunn is trying to stall.

Kausti scores with a shot to the body.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kausti manages to break the clinch.
Gunn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kausti moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gunn stuffs the takedown.
Kausti scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jeppe Kausti will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Kausti looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kausti lands with a punch from half guard.
Gunn flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Gunn manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Gunn tries to clinch but Kausti moves out of range.
Kausti shoots in but Gunn avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gunn is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Kausti prevents Gunn from standing back up.

Kausti is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gunn is just riding it out for now. Kausti eventually gives up the hold.

Gunn wants to stand but Kausti is controlling the position.

Jeppe Kausti dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Kausti shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gunn pinned against the cage. Gunn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A left and a right from Kausti both land. Nice combination.
Kausti misses with a low kick.
Kausti fails to land with a series of punches.
Kausti swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kausti tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gunn swivels and escapes.
Gunn throws a one two combo.

Gunn drives through and clinches with Kausti against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Kausti wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gunn has him pressed against the cage.
Gunn stalling in the clinch.
Kausti wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kausti prevents a takedown attempt there.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Gunn looking for a takedown.

Gunn jumps into guard, dragging Kausti to the mat.
Gunn lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kausti!
Gunn lands a big shot there that rocks Kausti but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Gunn trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Gunn looking for a guillotine from mount but Kausti is having none of it.
Kausti sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Gunn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kausti's head.
Kausti is staying active underneath Gunn, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Gunn passes to side control.

Gunn decides to stand back up.

Gunn works the jab nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gunn.
Jeppe Kausti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Gunn.
Gunn throws a head kick that half lands.

Gunn shoots in for a takedown but Kausti shows good takedown defense.

Gunn connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

letting Gunn counter with a right hand.
Gunn shoots and misses
and Kausti counters with a three punch combo that has Gunn backing up. Gunn nods at Kausti to acknowledge the strikes.
Kausti misses with a takedown attempt - Gunn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gunn connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Kausti! He's out on his feet! Gunn rushes in and drops Kausti with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tommy Gunn!
