Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Christ throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Michaels's waist but Michaels gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Christ off to one side.
Michaels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Michaels shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Christ clinches with his opponent.
Michaels is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Christ gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Christ tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Michaels just stands there and leans against the cage.

Shawn Michaels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Christ.
Michaels lands a right hand.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Christ has eaten all the pies!
Christ takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Michaels lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Christ misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Christ fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Michaels avoids it really well and circles away.
Michaels darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Michaels breaks from the clinch.
Christ closes the distance but Michaels moves to the side
and Michaels counters with a nice body kick.
No luck for Christ with that takedown attempt.
Michaels scores with a push kick.
Christ shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Michaels pinned against the cage. Michaels gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Christ looks gassed!

and Michaels counters with a big head kick but Christ shrugs it off.

Christ doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Michaels counters with a big head kick but Christ shrugs it off.
Gabriel Christ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Michaels throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Christ.
Michaels throws a leg kick which misses Christ's front leg but catches the back leg as Christ tries to avoid it.
Michaels clinches up with Christ and pushes him back against the cage.
Michaels breaks the clinch.
Christ tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Michaels swivels and escapes.
Christ takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Christ is trying desperately to land a takedown but Michaels is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Christ.
Michaels throws a one two combo.
Michaels lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Christ is rocked!
Michaels throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Christ crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
