PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hitman Hitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milli Vanilli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hitman comes into the arena with time to play the game blaring out of the sound system. Vanilli comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Blame it on the Rain kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanilli goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hitman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vanilli.
No luck for Hitman with that takedown attempt.
A cross from Vanilli lands.
Vanilli shoots in for a takedown but Hitman shows good takedown defense.
Hitman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hitman kicks Vanilli off and gets back to his feet.

Vanilli stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vanilli wants it to stay on the feet.

Hitman fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Vanilli checks it well.
Hitman shoots in for a double leg but Vanilli sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Vanilli closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Oh Hitman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vanilli wants to slow Hitman down by chopping away at his legs.
Hitman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Vanilli clinches but Hitman breaks the clinch

Vanilli's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Vanilli fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Vanilli lands with a nice combination. Hitman backs away looking to recover.
Vanilli lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Vanilli.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hitman swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Milli Vanilli showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

A chopping leg kick lands by Vanilli.

Hitman tries a low kick but Vanilli avoids it.

A frustrated look appears on Vanilli's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Hitman with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Hitman manages to break the clinch.
Hitman gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Vanilli misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Vanilli lands a two punch combo.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Vanilli throws a series of strikes that have Hitman backpedaling.
Vanilli throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hitman's waist but Hitman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vanilli off to one side.
Vanilli throws a series of punches but Hitman moves out of range.
Vanilli is working the combinations to good effect here.

Hitman darts in and clinches Vanilli up against the cage.

Vanilli is trying to force a seperation but Hitman has the dominant position.

Hitman jumps guard and drags Vanilli to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Vanilli wants to control from the top but Hitman keeps moving.
Vanilli wants to stand but Hitman is controlling his posture from full guard.

Hitman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vanilli can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Vanilli looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Vanilli wants to pass to mount but Hitman is defending the position.
Hitman throws a strike from the bottom but Vanilli passes into side control!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vanilli decides to stand back up. Vanilli steps back and let's Hitman get back to his feet.
Milli Vanilli is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Hitman Hitman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
