Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dufu Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ukko Vainamoinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vainamoinen has chosen Kalevala "Savelma" as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li misses with a double jab.
Li looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vainamoinen is fending him off so far but Li persists. Nope, Vainamoinen circles away and we're back to standing.
Vainamoinen swats away the attempt to clinch by Li.
Li fails with a takedown attempt.
Li fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dufu Li. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Li throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vainamoinen's waist but Vainamoinen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Li off to one side.

Li takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Vainamoinen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Li moves away.
Li misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Li takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Vainamoinen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Li throws an overhand right that lands on Vainamoinen's shoulder, as Vainamoinen tries to avoid the shot.
Li blocks a head kick by Vainamoinen.
Vainamoinen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Vainamoinen is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Li rather than just go for the knockout.
Vainamoinen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Li looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Li has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vainamoinen has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Li should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Vainamoinen has tightened it up now! Li should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
