The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerrero tries to score with a low kick but Lestat moves his leg out of the way.
Lestat fails to land the takedown.
Guerrero throws a nice looking combination but Lestat bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lestat tries for a takedown but Guerrero sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Guerrero takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Lyoto Guerrero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guerrero throws a leg kick which misses Lestat's front leg but catches the back leg as Lestat tries to avoid it.
Guerrero throws a quick inside leg kick.
Lestat throws a head kick that misses.
Lestat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Lestat. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lestat will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Guerrero lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Guerrero.
Lestat is trying hard to land a takedown here. Guerrero sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
