Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between VJ Mithani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mithani's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Forever - Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem. Maxwell has chosen Basket Case as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mithani dives in and grabs Maxwell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maxwell pushes down on Mithani's head and hops out.
Mithani looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mithani thuds a left hand into Maxwell's body.

Maxwell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mithani is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Maxwell has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Maxwell is chipping away with strikes.

Maxwell is keen to just control but Mithani is a slippery customer.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Maxwell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mithani swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Maxwell counters with a big head kick but Mithani shrugs it off.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Maxwell crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mithani - the referee stops the clock and Maxwell gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mithani. Maxwell manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Maxwell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mithani stalks Maxwell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Maxwell's face. Maxwell staggers backwards, shaken.

Juan Maxwell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
A punch lands to the side of Maxwell 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Well Mithani has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
