The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Varnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hiesel circles away quickly and effectively.
Hiesel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Varnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hiesel somewhat.
Varnson lands a left and a right that send Hiesel crashing to the mat, dazed. Varnson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Napoleon Hiesel has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Varnson lands a big uppercut and Hiesel crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hiesel looks OK. Varnson waves Hiesel back to his feet!
Varnson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Hiesel looks gassed!
Hiesel ducks into an uppercut from Varnson and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
