PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Parslow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esko Jazz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jazz has chosen AC/DC - Back in Black as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parslow has managed to clinch.
Parslow keeps control of Jazz as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Parslow wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jazz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Parslow is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jazz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Parslow's back instead.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Jazz lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jazz connects with a nice short shot to Parslow's temple.

I would just about give that final round to Esko Jazz.
Well Parslow has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
