Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tra Fulton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kouta Hiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiro looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Hiro throws a head kick that misses.

Hiro closes the distance and pushes Fulton back into the ropes.
Hiro tries to land knees in the clinch but Fulton avoids the damage to the body.

Fulton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kouta Hiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hiro fails in his attempt to clinch.

Nice defenses there by Hiro.

Hiro has Fulton up against the ropes in a clinch.
Hiro with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

It looks like Tra Fulton has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fulton is trying to trip Hiro. He has hold of a leg but Hiro is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Fulton persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Fulton wants to pass the guard but Hiro is keeping the position.
Hiro throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Hiro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fulton slips nicely into half guard.

Hiro wants to get back to his feet.
Hiro is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Fulton has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Hiro defend it? Fulton steps over the head and cranks it - Hiro is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Fulton!
