The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zarmini looks for a takedown but Cuba sprawls well.
Zarmini closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Cuba tries to roll over but Zarmini keeps him under control.
Zarmini is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cuba is just riding it out for now. Zarmini eventually gives up the hold.
Cuba manages to get to full guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Cuba has eaten all the pies!
Cuba trying to control the position.

Cuba working for a triangle but Zarmini defends it easily.
Cuba has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zarmini can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Cuba lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Zarmini!
Cuba is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Cuba extends the arm and Zarmini is forced to tap!
