Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Feodore Sabre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and FiveX Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Carwin's choice of entrance music: big hands. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Feodore Sabre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, FiveX Carwin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabre missing with a left hand there. Carwin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Carwin fails in his attempt to clinch.

Sabre takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Sabre closes this distance looking for a takedown but Carwin circles away.
Carwin misses with an uppercut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sabre keeps the fight on the outside.
Carwin gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Carwin fails to land with a series of punches.

Sabre shoots in looking for a takedown. Carwin tries to sprawl out of it but Sabre keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Carwin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Carwin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Carwin creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Sabre's defenses.
Carwin lands a nice elbow.


It looks like Feodore Sabre has been cut.

Sabre jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carwin walks away with a smile on his face. Sabre gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Feodore Sabre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sabre ducks under a wild hook from Carwin.
Carwin looks to land a left hand but Sabre moved out of range nicely.

Sabre tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carwin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sabre somewhat.

Carwin moves into range and clinches up with Sabre.

Carwin is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sabre is defending well for now.
Carwin tries to work over Sabre's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Carwin lands a good knee to the midsection. Sabre won't want to take too many of those.
Sabre blocks an elbow strike from Carwin.
Carwin tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sabre avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Carwin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sabre.
Sabre avoids the body shot from Carwin.
Sabre shoots in for a takedown but Carwin shows good takedown defense.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Poor strikes thrown by Sabre there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carwin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Sabre closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Carwin to the mat! Carwin manages to get full guard.

Sabre lands a couple of digs.
Sabre trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Carwin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sabre has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sabre looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Carwin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sabre throws out the jab.
Sabre avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Horrible takedown by Sabre or perhaps it was just good defense by Carwin which made him look bad.
Sabre misses with a looping right.

FiveX Carwin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Carwin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
