Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bartolomeu Marreta!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alejara rushes Marreta and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Alejara looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Marreta has Alejara pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Alejara manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Alejara pulls guard effortlessly.
Marreta drops back looking for a leg! Alejara is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Alejara manages to kick Marreta off! Marreta jumps back into Alejara's guard.
Marreta advances to half guard.
Marreta moves nicely into side control.
Marreta has hold of Alejara's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Alejara seems comfortable defending it but Marreta has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Alejara is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Alejara is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Marreta couldn't care less - he's delighted!
