PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiranuka Stakanu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stakanu comes into the arena with Oy, To Ne Vecher blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Wells!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Stakanu tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wells wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Stakanu closes the distance and clinches up with Wells, looking for a takedown. Stakanu pushes Wells against the cage but Wells circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Stakanu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wells doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stakanu.
