Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yoki Kurinoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pelos Nancee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoki Kurinoshi has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoki Kurinoshi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pelos Nancee! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nancee shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nancee showed some decent athleticism there. Nancee sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kurinoshi defending well though. Nancee is looking for a kimura here.
Nancee looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kurinoshi works his way to full guard. Good work. Kurinoshi can't keep his opponent in guard - Nancee advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nancee is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Nancee is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Nancee working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Nancee goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kurinoshi turns into him and now he's in Nancee's guard.
Nancee looks gassed! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Nancee keeping moving, preventing Kurinoshi from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurinoshi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Nancee has his foot on Kurinoshi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kurinoshi works his way back into a safe position though. Kurinoshi passes easily into side control. Nice work. Nancee manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Kurinoshi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Nancee has gone for a leg lock! Kurinoshi slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nancee's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nancee wants to hit a switch here but Kurinoshi passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Nancee there! Nancee looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Nancee wants to escape the position.
Kurinoshi has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Nancee has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Kurinoshi doesn't have the hooks in and Nancee manages to turn into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nancee drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kurinoshi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nancee has Kurinoshi in his guard. Nancee working for submissions but it's allowed Kurinoshi to get to half guard.
Nancee wants to get back to full guard. Nancee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kurinoshi pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Yoki Kurinoshi will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Nancee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nancee shoots in but no luck this time. Kurinoshi throws a right and a left that both miss. Nancee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Yoki Kurinoshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pelos Nancee. Nancee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kurinoshi sprawls well. Kurinoshi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nancee gets slowly back to his feet. Nancee gets caught flat footed, as Kurinoshi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kurinoshi advances position into side control! Nancee is trying to improve his position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nancee is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kurinoshi's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Kurinoshi! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Nancee has tapped! This one is allllll over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Yoki Kurinoshi!
