Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brady Baird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Warren Westside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Westside is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Queen - Another One Bites The Dust. Warren Westside will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brady Baird!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Warren Westside!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baird changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Westside tries to avoid it but Baird manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Westside to the ground. Westside escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Baird fails with a takedown attempt.
Westside tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Baird paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Baird shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Westside bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Baird escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Westside gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Baird can't keep his opponent in guard - Westside advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Westside thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Baird's head.
Westside thows a huge punch but Baird dodges it nicely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brady Baird. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Brady Baird seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Westside defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Baird.
Baird shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Westside but Westside pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Baird is breathing heavily.
Baird closes the distance and clinches up with Westside, looking for a takedown. Baird pushes Westside against the cage but Westside circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Baird shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Westside defends it nicely.
Westside stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Westside wants it to stay on the feet.

Westside forces Baird back against the cage and clinches.
Baird has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Westside is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Westside wants to break free but Baird has control.
Westside is trying to break the clinch but Baird has him pressed against the cage.
Westside wants a takedown.

Westside has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Baird is trying to keep an underhook but Westside manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Westside maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Baird could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Westside has cracked it and Baird is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Westside!
