The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singlaterry throws a nice outside leg kick.
Singlaterry buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Singlaterry changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Soto looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Soto can't do much from the bottom here.
Singlaterry connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Soto some visible discomfort.
Soto is trying to improve his position.
The strikes coming from Singlaterry are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Soto is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Soto seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Singlaterry does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Soto gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Soto can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Singlaterry controls the pace.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Soto bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Singlaterry's guard.
Soto is working Singlaterry over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Singlaterry is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Singlaterry moves in looking to clinch but Soto pushes him off.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Singlaterry shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Soto sprawls well. Soto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Singlaterry gets slowly back to his feet.

Well Singlaterry has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
