Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daigo Goto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jasmin Bonsant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonsant has chosen AC/DC Thunderstruck as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonsant swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Goto shoots for a double leg takedown but Bonsant sprawls well. He's pushed Goto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bonsant stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bonsant wants it to stay on the feet.
Goto fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daigo Goto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Goto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bonsant jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Goto has control of Bonsant's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bonsant regains control of the situation pretty easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bonsant can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bonsant is trying to stand.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Goto shoots for a takedown but Bonsant saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Goto lands a big shot there that rocks Bonsant but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Goto lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Goto swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
