Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephen Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, George St Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker jabs Pierre right on the nose. Pierre blinks but takes it well.
A slow jab from Parker misses its intended target.

Pierre changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Parker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Parker is looking for a sweep.
Parker wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Pierre trying to control the position but Parker is working away.
Pierre might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Parker kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Parker tries to improve position but can't.
Parker prevents Pierre from improving position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Parker is trying to get back to half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pierre fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Pierre closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pierre lands in his opponent's guard.

Pierre is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Parker wants to stand but Pierre is controlling the position.
Pierre won't allow Parker to sweep him here.
Pierre trying to control the position from guard on top but Parker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Parker holds on and takes a little breather.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Parker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pierre moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pierre slips a jab and a cross from Parker.
Pierre fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Parker avoids it really well and circles away.

Parker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Parker wants to get up but he can't break Pierre's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Parker slips nicely into half guard.
Pierre looks gassed!

Pierre is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Parker pulls his head out easily.
Parker is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Pierre is trying desperately to improve position.
Parker tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pierre is in all sorts of trouble here.

Pierre tries to hold on but Parker postures up.
Parker punishing his opponent with strikes.
The referee warns Pierre that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Parker is landing with some decent strikes but Pierre is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Parker looking to finish Pierre with some ground and pound. This is bad for Pierre!
Parker sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Pierre wants to control but Parker is having none of it.
Parker is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Pierre can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stephen Parker dominated that round.
That's time! Parker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Parker throws a series of punches but Pierre avoids them all with ease.
Pierre tries a head kick but it misses.
A jab lands there for Parker.


It looks like George St Pierre has been cut.
Donk. Parker catches Pierre right on the button with a cross.


Pierre is rocked!
Parker lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Pierre falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Stephen Parker!
