The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pohjanala tries to clinch up but Sosa circles away and keeps his distance.
Sosa misses with a takedown attempt - Pohjanala sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pohjanala shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sosa but Sosa pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A head kick misses from Sosa.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pohjanala looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sosa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pohjanala counters with a good, hard body kick but Sosa shrugs it off.
Sosa tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Sosa misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pohjanala fails with an attempt to clinch.

Sosa manages to capitalize on a mistake by Pohjanala to take his back!

I really don't envy Pohjanala right now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pohjanala tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Pohjanala tries to hold on but Sosa pushes him away.

Sosa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pohjanala has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sosa is working away from the top position though.
Sosa wants to take a breather but Pohjanala is having none of it.

and Pohjanala counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pohjanala.

Pohjanala has hold of Sosa's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Sosa seems comfortable defending it but Pohjanala has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Sosa is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Sosa is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Pohjanala couldn't care less - he's delighted!
