Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dessy Nunu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punch comes to the cage accompanied by Get Knocked Out. Nunu has chosen AK47 as his entrance music. Ray Punch had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ray Punch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dessy Nunu!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punch misses with a low kick as Nunu jumps back.
Punch throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nunu's waist but Nunu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Punch off to one side.
Punch throws a head kick but Nunu moves out of range.
Punch stalks Nunu and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nunu's face. Nunu staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Dessy Nunu has been cut.
Punch will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nunu changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Punch looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nunu throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Punch tries to escape but Nunu is in control.
Nunu is chipping away with strikes.
Nunu thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Nunu working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Nunu is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Punch has escaped the position, nice work there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Nunu throws a strike aimed at the side of Punch's head but Punch avoids it well.
Punch is not content to let Nunu control the position.

An elbow from Nunu crashes against the mat.
Punch is trying to buck Nunu off.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Punch is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Punch wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nunu working away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Punch tries to clinch but Nunu is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Punch fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nunu avoids it really well and circles away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nunu fails to land with a series of punches.
Nunu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nunu scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Punch is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Nunu is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Punch is trying to improve his position.
Punch throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Punch moves in looking to clinch but Nunu pushes him off.
Punch throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nunu's waist but Nunu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Punch off to one side.

Nunu thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Punch's head.

Nunu is working for a submission of some sort.
Punch is trying to stand up here but Nunu is controlling him well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Punch is trying to maintain the position but Nunu is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Punch misses with a wild combination.
Punch throws a right and a left that both miss.
Punch fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Punch uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nunu has time to react.
Nunu takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nunu has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Ray Punch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Punch is looking to clinch but Nunu is avoiding it.
Punch lunges at Nunu with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nunu's hand.
Punch wants to clinch.
Punch tries a head kick but it misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Punch dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Dessy Nunu's cut.

A left lands for Punch.
Nunu slips a jab and a cross from Punch.
Punch tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nunu swivels and escapes.
Punch misses with a double jab.
Punch connects with a body shot.
Nunu has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nunu there as he acknowledges the shot.
Punch throws the kick towards the body but Nunu avoids it.
Nunu takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Punch lands a two punch combo.
Punch throws a right and a left that Nunu avoids nicely.
Nunu avoids the head kick by Punch.
Nunu falls off balance throwing a combination
and Nunu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Punch tries a head kick but it misses.
Punch swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nunu counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Punch is looking to escape.
Nunu is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Punch!

Punch wants to control but Nunu is having none of it.
Nunu misses with a head shot.
Punch is in all sorts of trouble here.
Punch is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nunu wants to control the pace but Punch is squirming around nicely.
Punch on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Punch tries to get out of the position.
Nunu might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Punch kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Punch tries to lock up and control but Nunu gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Nunu thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Nunu landing strikes from the mount.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Punch wants to hold on but Nunu pushes him away.
Nunu won't let Punch get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Punch manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes.
Punch wants to stand back up but Nunu manages to pass into side control.
Nunu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Punch keeps working.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ray Punch.
I think Punch has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
