The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McTeague misses with a wild combination.
Georgief shoots in for a takedown but McTeague shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
McTeague misses with a few strikes there.

Georgief changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McTeague looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Georgief is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McTeague has escaped the position, nice work there.
Sloppy strikes there by Georgief.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Georgief throwing strikes but McTeague manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

McTeague stands up.
Horrible takedown by Georgief or perhaps it was just good defense by McTeague which made him look bad.

Georgief drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Georgief looking to sit in guard and control but McTeague gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Georgief manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McTeague manages to get himself to full guard.
McTeague is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Georgief trying to control but McTeague is working from the bottom.
McTeague wants to get back to his feet but Georgief is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Georgief throws and elbow that misses. McTeague uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Georgief's guard. Nice move by McTeague!

Georgief escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McTeague gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McTeague controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

McTeague stands up from Georgief's guard - McTeague perhaps looking for a knockout.
McTeague shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Georgief sprawls well. Georgief wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McTeague gets slowly back to his feet.

McTeague throws a nice looking combination but Georgief bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Georgief drops his hands momentarily and McTeague takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

McTeague throws a right hand that Georgief ducks under and follows up with a left that Georgief also avoids with ease.
McTeague throws a combination. Georgief tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
McTeague is trying to break the clinch but Georgief has him pressed against the cage.
McTeague is looking to break free of the clinch but Georgief has double underhooks.
Georgief wants a takedown.

McTeague lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Georgief is looking to close the distance but McTeague sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Georgief crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Georgief is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
