Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fisher comes to the cage accompanied by Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher fails to land the takedown.
Alvarez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fisher swivels and escapes.
Fisher gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Alvarez counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Alvarez is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Fisher thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fisher is on top in guard.

Alvarez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fisher kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Alvarez has his foot on Fisher's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fisher works his way back into a safe position though.

Fisher slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Alvarez wants to sweep but no luck.
Fisher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alvarez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fisher could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fisher has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Alvarez to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Fisher is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Alvarez pulls down on the head and he's put Fisher to sleep! This one is all over!
