Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, lilian andalou!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Asmund!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asmund is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in andalou's half guard.
andalou looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
andalou is trying to get back to full guard.
Asmund perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
I looks like Asmund might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Asmund's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Asmund duly obliges.
Asmund bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
andalou looking for a sweep but Asmund has passed into full mount! Oh no!
andalou is trying to reverse the position but instead Asmund has taken his back - oops!

You can see the frustration on andalou's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Asmund controlling the position well here. andalou rolled but Asmund kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
I really don't envy andalou right now.
andalou really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Asmund is trying to stick to andalou's back but andalou is turning into Asmund. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Asmund's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by andalou.
andalou throws a strike but Asmund rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Asmund is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
andalou wants to get back to his feet but Asmund is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
andalou is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
andalou will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
andalou is working hard here to advance position.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
andalou tries to close the distance and clinch but Asmund swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Asmund closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
andalou stands and throws Asmund's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Asmund takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
andalou stands up and beckons Asmund to his feet.

andalou swings wildly with an uppercut but Asmund uses good head movement to avoid it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Asmund jumps guard but andalou stands there with Asmund around his waist. Asmund gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Asmund connects with a right hand. andalou shakes it off.
andalou is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Asmund keeps the fight on the outside.
andalou keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The fight stays on the outside here - andalou looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

I would just about give that final round to Mark Asmund.
