Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vasya Tambovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mohammad hussain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). hussain has chosen ahhhh as his entrance music. mohammad hussain will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hussain chopping away at his opponent's legs.
hussain throws a sloppy head kick and Tambovsky moves out of range easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from hussain is defended easily by Tambovsky.
Tambovsky shoots and misses

and hussain counters with a takedown into side control.
hussain wants to control but Tambovsky is keeping him busy.
Tambovsky gets back to half guard.
hussain tries to pass to full mount but Tambovsky defends it.

hussain decides to stand and escape the position.

Tambovsky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. hussain gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Tambovsky has his foot on hussain's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. hussain works his way back into a safe position though.

hussain preventing the sweep.

hussain's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tambovsky is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Tambovsky looking for a guillotine here but hussain defends easily.

hussain decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
hussain gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Tambovsky counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in hussain's guard now.

hussain pulls Tambovsky in close to prevent any damage.

Tambovsky postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! hussain is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tambovsky, into his guard.

Tambovsky is working an open guard so hussain takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Vasya Tambovsky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of mohammad hussain.

Tambovsky wants to work for an arm triangle but hussain is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Tambovsky seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but hussain does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
hussain is trying to get back to full guard.
Tambovsky takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Tambovsky seems to be working for a kimura but hussain defends the submission attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fight stays on the outside here - hussain looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
