The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randi slips a jab from Merkel.
Merkel throws a series of punches but Randi moves out of range.
A slow jab from Merkel misses its intended target.
Merkel throws a lazy right hand but Randi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Merkel lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Anssi Randi has been cut.
Randi slips a jab from Merkel.
Merkel dodges the punch combination from Randi.
Merkel throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Randi stumbling backwards into the cage! Randi bounces back off the cage towards Merkel, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Merkel lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Merkel celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
