PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Ransom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Machida Mochuda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ransom comes into the arena with fight fire with fire - metallica blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ransom slips a jab and a cross from Mochuda.
Mochuda is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ransom sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Mochuda is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mochuda has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ransom can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Ransom decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mochuda's guard.
