Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kai Star (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Bisping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Star's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, National Anthem. Michael Bisping has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bisping throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Star's waist but Star gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bisping off to one side.
Star tries to clinch there but Bisping circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Star looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Star decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bisping's guard.

Bisping shoots and misses

and Star counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Bisping is trying to break the clinch but Star is controlling him.

Star breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Star clinches up with Bisping and pushes him back against the cage.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Star lands a good knee to the midsection. Bisping won't want to take too many of those.

Star's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kai Star has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Bisping.

Bisping is bucking up trying to escape but Star cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

and Star counters with a three punch combo that has Bisping backing up. Bisping nods at Star to acknowledge the strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Star looking to sit in guard and control but Bisping gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Star is looking for a triangle but Bisping pushes his legs off easily.

Star has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bisping can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Star is breathing heavily.

Bisping drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Star manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bisping has Star in his guard.
Star throws a strike but Bisping rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Star is looking to sinch up a triangle. Bisping throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Star's body to avoid the submission. Star has instead reached around Bisping's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Star arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
