Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Sanitha Muralitharan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asher Lee!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a jab when Muralitharan was well out of range.
Muralitharan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lee takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A head kick misses from Muralitharan.
Muralitharan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Muralitharan throws a right and a left that Lee avoids nicely.
Muralitharan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.
Muralitharan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lee avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lee walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Lee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
No joy there for Muralitharan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sanitha Muralitharan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muralitharan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Lee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lee wants it to stay on the feet.
Muralitharan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Muralitharan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee.
Muralitharan throws a hook but Lee avoids it easily.
Muralitharan misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Muralitharan closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Muralitharan pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Muralitharan is breathing heavily.
Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Muralitharan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lee closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Muralitharan! Lee dives in looking to finish! Muralitharan is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Asher Lee!
