Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Poe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Spoons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spoons walks into a straight right hand from Poe.
Spoons shoots in for a double leg but Poe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Poe has taken the fight to the clinch.
Poe tries for a takedown but Spoons manages to get underhooks.
Poe prevents a takedown attempt there.
Poe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Poe pushes Spoons up against the cage in a clinch.

Spoons swings around for an armbar but Poe sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Spoons's guard.
Spoons had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Poe is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Spoons Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Poe's back instead.
