The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figueroa takes a swing at Paiva's ribcage but misses.
Paiva lands the left hand.
Figueroa throws out a loose jab but Paiva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Paiva looks to land a combination but Figueroa avoids it well.
Figueroa smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Paiva drops Figueroa with a beautiful combination! Figueroa stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Paiva is looking for the KO!
Figueroa is rocked!

Paiva drops Figueroa with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Figueroa! Paiva dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
