The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morcegao moves in looking to clinch but sILVA pushes him off.

Morcegao darts in and clinches sILVA up against the cage.

Morcegao drops down looking for an ankle pick but sILVA pulls his leg out and moves away.

sILVA got a little sloppy there for a moment and Morcegao has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, sILVA has managed to get both his arms back between Morcegao's legs - danger averted.
Morcegao will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
sILVA thows a huge punch but Morcegao dodges it nicely.
Well, if sILVA is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Morcegao pushes sILVA off and gets back to his feet.

sILVA closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Morcegao did well to prevent sILVA getting side control.

Bruno Morcegao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of milone sILVA.

sILVA had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Morcegao is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. sILVA Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Morcegao's back instead.
