Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Fernandez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Filip Demore!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fernandez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Demore was covering up waiting for the punch and Fernandez finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Fernandez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Demore is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fernandez, into his guard.
Demore is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Demore wants to stand but Fernandez is controlling his posture from full guard.

Demore stands up from guard. Let's bang!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Fernandez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Demore's guard.
Demore trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Fernandez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Demore is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fernandez, into his guard.

Fernandez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Demore wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Fernandez's closed guard. He's half up but Fernandez has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Fernandez pivots and extends the arm, Demore falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Fernandez! Well done that man!
