Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Reese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Carbone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carbone is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bruce Springsteen - Born in the USA. Frankie Carbone acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Carbone!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carbone instigates a clinch.
Reese is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Carbone gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Carbone lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Reese changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Carbone fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Reese takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Reese throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Reese tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

It looks like Kyle Reese has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Carbone lands a big head kick that sends Reese tumbling to the mat! Carbone takes a step backwards and waves Reese back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Carbone, as that shot connected.

Carbone lands a nice looking body kick.
Carbone plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Reese shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carbone as he avoids it easily.
Carbone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Carbone tries to clinch there but Reese circles away.

Carbone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Reese fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carbone avoids it really well and circles away.
Frankie Carbone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reese shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carbone as he avoids it easily.

Reese changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carbone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Reese is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carbone knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Carbone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reese. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Reese takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Carbone cracks a nice hook into Reese's ribs.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Reese is defended easily by Carbone.

Carbone closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Carbone throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Reese blocks it with crossed arms.
Carbone stops a takedown attempt from Reese.
Carbone unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Carbone lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Carbone pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Carbone lands a body shot.
Reese tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carbone swivels and escapes.

Kyle Reese has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Carbone throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Reese.
Carbone throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carbone stuns Reese with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Frankie Carbone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Carbone tries to close the distance and clinch but Reese swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Reese takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Carbone lets loose with a powerful body kick. Reese will feel that in the morning.
Carbone throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carbone lands a head kick. Reese smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Carbone turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

And that's the end of the fight!
Frankie Carbone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Carbone winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
