Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between shaka zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Edwinsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). zulu's entrance music is do it. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Edwinsson's choice of entrance music: M by Ayumi Hamasaki. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
zulu moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Magnus Edwinsson has been cut.
zulu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
shaka zulu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Edwinsson tries to clinch up.
Edwinsson tries to close the distance and clinch but zulu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
zulu misses with a two punch combination.
Edwinsson moves out of range as zulu strikes.

Edwinsson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but zulu avoids it really well and circles away.

zulu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Edwinsson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! zulu is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Edwinsson, into his guard.

Edwinsson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and zulu defends well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. zulu lands a nice short elbow.
zulu uses his free foot to push down on Edwinsson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Edwinsson.
