The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang shoots in for a double leg but Jaa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jaa lands with a nice body kick.
Wang wants to clinch up but Jaa keeps it at a distance.
Wang shoots in for a takedown but Jaa shows good takedown defense.
Jaa scores with a kick to the midsection.
A slow jab from Jaa misses its intended target.
Wang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jaa tries to avoid it but Wang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jaa to the ground. Jaa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Wang. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Wang shoots for a double leg takedown but Jaa sprawls well. He's pushed Wang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jaa tests Wang's chin there with a solid looking shot.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Wang might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Wang shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jaa but Jaa pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jaa stuffs the takedown attempt from Wang. Wang gets slowly back to his feet.
Wang has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Wang shoots in and drives through. Jaa sprawls well.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Wang crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jaa - the referee stops the clock and Wang gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jaa. Wang manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Wang is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
