Modsev darts in and clinches Kingheart up against the ropes.

Modsev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Modsev has taken the fight to the clinch.

Modsev works on Kingheart's body with a couple of short punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Modsev digs a right hand into Kingheart's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kingheart's gas tank.
Modsev lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Modsev lands a body punch.
Modsev wants to break free but Kingheart has control.
Kingheart is trying to force a seperation but Modsev has the dominant position.

Modsev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Modsev has Kingheart up against the ropes in a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Modsev creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Modsev is working Kingheart over against the ropes.
A nice left hand lands by Modsev.

Modsev's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Modsev lands a two punch combo.
Modsev lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.


Jim Kingheart's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Jim Kingheart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Modsev lands a slapping body shot.
Kingheart walks into a stiff left hand from Modsev.


Jeez, Jim Kingheart's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Modsev has managed to clinch.

Modsev cracks Kingheart with a nice body shot.
Modsev digs a right hand underneath Kingheart's ribcage. Kingheart let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Modsev lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jim Kingheart's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
