Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milo Encallado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Moonpark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Milo Encallado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Moonpark!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Encallado closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Moonpark is looking to regain half guard here but Encallado keeps moving and retains side control.
Moonpark is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Encallado asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Encallado tries for a kimura but Moonpark is defending well.
Moonpark is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Encallado is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Moonpark knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Encallado tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Encallado has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Encallado swings around for an armbar but Moonpark sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Encallado's guard.
Encallado might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Moonpark jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Encallado manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Encallado goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Moonpark turns into him and now he's in Encallado's guard.

Encallado isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Moonpark stacks Encallado on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Moonpark!
Moonpark works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Moonpark tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moonpark might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Encallado kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Moonpark throws a sloppy head kick and Encallado moves out of range easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Encallado accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Encallado drops back, looking for a kneebar! Moonpark looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Moonpark looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Moonpark!

Moonpark stands up.

Milo Encallado showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Encallado has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
