Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Probert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Drysdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Probert comes to the cage accompanied by lunatic fringe. Ralph Drysdale has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Shane Probert's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane Probert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ralph Drysdale!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drysdale avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Probert pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Shane Probert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Probert plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!


It looks like Ralph Drysdale has been cut.

Drysdale tries to bum rush Probert with a series of wild strikes but Probert uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Probert moves in looking to clinch but Drysdale pushes him off.

Drysdale throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Probert was covering up waiting for the punch and Drysdale finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Drysdale ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Drysdale no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The crowd cheers as Probert lands an impressive looking overhand right. Drysdale doesn't seem phased though.
Probert lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Drysdale circles away quickly and effectively.

Drysdale shoots in looking for a takedown. Probert tries to sprawl out of it but Drysdale keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Probert manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Shane Probert has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ralph Drysdale.

Ralph Drysdale showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Drysdale bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Probert is looking for a sweep.

I've got Drysdale winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
