Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Give it Away. Stojnic is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Can't be touched. Denis Stojnic has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stojnic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smith is fending him off so far but Stojnic persists. Nope, Smith circles away and we're back to standing.
A thudding body kick lands there by Stojnic!
Smith misses with a body shot.

Stojnic throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily.
Stojnic feints and then cracks Smith's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Smith down.

It looks like Austin Smith has been cut.
Smith moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Stojnic throws a head kick that misses.
Smith throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Denis Stojnic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smith throws a nice looking combination but Stojnic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Stojnic tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Denis Stojnic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stojnic throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Stojnic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Stojnic lands a big head kick that sends Smith tumbling to the mat! Stojnic takes a step backwards and waves Smith back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Smith lands with a straight right. Stojnic didn't see that one coming.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Stojnic! Smith is out on his feet! Stojnic rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Smith is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Smith is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
