The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brutus takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Woodz.
Woodz connects with a body shot.
Woodz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brutus avoids it really well and circles away.
Woodz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Woodz tries to bum rush Brutus with a series of wild strikes but Brutus uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Brutus rushes Woodz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Brutus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Woodz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
