PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Renzo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jack sparrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that jack sparrow was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie shoots in and bounces sparrow off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Gracie wants to control from the top but sparrow keeps moving.

sparrow escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gracie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

sparrow manages to reverse the position and now he's in Gracie's guard. Nice work there by sparrow.

sparrow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and sparrow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
sparrow should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gracie, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
