The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Perunamuusi.

Perunamuusi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Perunamuusi throws and elbow that misses. Crowley uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Perunamuusi's guard. Nice move by Crowley!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Crowley wants to pass the guard but Perunamuusi is keeping the position.
Perunamuusi is trying to control the position but Crowley postures up.

Crowley passes Perunamuusi's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Perunamuusi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crowley tries to avoid it but Perunamuusi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crowley to the ground. Crowley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Perunamuusi shoots in looking for a takedown. Crowley tries to sprawl out of it but Perunamuusi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crowley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Perunamuusi throws a right and a left that Crowley avoids nicely.

Crowley closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Perunamuusi to the mat! Perunamuusi manages to get full guard.

Perunamuusi has his foot on Crowley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Crowley works his way back into a safe position though.

Crowley is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Perunamuusi is in trouble now - Crowley has advanced to mount!
Crowley postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Perunamuusi looks a forlorn figure.
Crowley lands a heavy elbow.

It looks like Frank Perunamuusi has been cut.
Crowley prevents Perunamuusi from getting the reversal.

Crowley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Perunamuusi sprawls well. Perunamuusi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Crowley gets slowly back to his feet.
