Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Henrik Larsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Larsson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Murphy misses with a takedown attempt - Larsson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Larsson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Murphy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Murphy shoots in for a takedown but Larsson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Henrik Larsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lester Murphy.

Murphy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Larsson has him pressed against the cage.

Murphy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Larsson has his foot on Murphy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Murphy works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Murphy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Larsson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Murphy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Larsson controls Murphy momentarily but Murphy frees himself.
Murphy stands and steps away. Larsson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Murphy misses with a few strikes there.

Larsson dives in and grabs Murphy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Murphy pushes down on Larsson's head and hops out.

Murphy thows a body shot but no joy.
Murphy throws a wild body kick that Larsson sees coming a mile off.

and Larsson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Larsson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Murphy is trying to escape and Larsson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Murphy is forced to tap! Nice work there by Larsson! Very nice indeed!
