Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Prashanth Maadala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jusa Jesse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maadala lands a right hook to the body.
Maadala throws a series of punches but Jesse moves out of range.
Prashanth Maadala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maadala throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jesse dodges the punch combination from Maadala.
Maadala fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jesse looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jesse shoots in but Maadala avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jesse closes the distance and clinches up with Maadala, looking for a takedown. Jesse pushes Maadala against the cage but Maadala circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Maadala stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jesse swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Maadala is taking a breather. Jesse says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maadala is trying to get an arm triangle but Jesse is defending well.

Jusa Jesse showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Maadala's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Jesse closes the distance and pushes Maadala back into the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jesse just misses with a elbow thrown towards Maadala's brow.

Jesse breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jesse uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Maadala.
Maadala swings for the body but Jesse moves out of range.

Prashanth Maadala is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jesse tries to score a power double leg takedown but Maadala sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jesse somewhat.

and Jesse counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Maadala's guard now.
Maadala is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jesse slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Maadala is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Maadala is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Maadala looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Maadala wants to free his trapped foot but Jesse is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Jesse is refusing to be controlled, as Maadala sits in half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Jesse manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jesse looking for a guillotine here but Maadala defends easily.

Jesse working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maadala doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Maadala manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
