The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beretta getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Tarudo shoots in for a double leg but Beretta sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Beretta lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mike Tarudo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beretta lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Beretta swinging wilding here.
Beretta throws a right hand that Tarudo ducks under and follows up with a left that Tarudo also avoids with ease.

Tarudo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Beretta misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
