Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Giant Midget!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Roy Killstein!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Midget closes the distance and clinches.
Midget struggles to land a body shot inside as Killstein controls his hands.

Killstein breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Killstein avoids a punch combination nicely.
Good work by Midget as he checks the leg kick.

Killstein has closed the distance and engaged Midget in a clinch.
Midget really is a fat lump.

Killstein manages to pull guard.

Midget has gone for a leg lock! Killstein slips out almost immediately though and dives into Midget's guard.

Midget working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Killstein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Killstein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Midget might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Killstein distracts Midget with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Killstein stands and steps away. Midget gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Killstein throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Good leg kick by Killstein there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Killstein moves into the clinch successfully.

Killstein pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Killstein throws a wild body kick that Midget sees coming a mile off.
Killstein throws a right hand that Midget ducks under and follows up with a left that Midget also avoids with ease.
Midget throws an overhand right that lands on Killstein's shoulder, as Killstein tries to avoid the shot.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Killstein escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Killstein slips a jab from Midget.
Killstein throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Killstein tests Midget's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Midget lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Killstein circles away quickly and effectively.

Killstein gets a takedown into half guard.

Midget looking for submissions off his back.

Killstein decides to return to a standing position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Midget slips a jab and a cross from Killstein.
Midget avoids a punch combination nicely.

Giant Midget seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Killstein darts in and clinches Midget up against the cage.

Killstein pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Midget closes the distance but Killstein moves to the side

and Killstein counters with a single leg into guard. Midget didn't expect that.
Killstein must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Killstein lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Midget utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Killstein looking to pass the guard.
Killstein keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Midget's head.
Killstein pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Midget is keeping the position for now.

Killstein loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Killstein controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Killstein is looking to stand up but Midget won't let him.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Killstein swats away the attempt to clinch by Midget.
Midget loads up on a big right hand but Killstein slips the punch.
A slow jab from Midget misses its intended target.
Midget avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Midget misses with a jab, cross combination.
Killstein fails to land with a series of punches.
Midget throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Killstein avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Killstein shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Midget pinned against the cage. Midget gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Midget throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Killstein scores with a takedown into Midget's guard.

Killstein is posturing up here but Midget has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Killstein tries to roll out but it's too tight and Killstein has to tap! Slick submission there by Midget!
