The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ekbladh shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Ekbladh wants to pass to mount but Silva is defending the position.
Ekbladh not doing much here.
Silva is refusing to be controlled, as Ekbladh sits in half guard.

Ekbladh postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Silva to stand up.

Ekbladh shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ekbladh trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ekbladh avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ekbladh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Silva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ekbladh is aware though and is defending well.

Silva has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ekbladh should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Silva has tightened it up now! Ekbladh should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
