Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Norman Collings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sig Hemmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sig Hemmer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Norman Collings!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sig Hemmer!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collings stalks Hemmer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hemmer's face. Hemmer staggers backwards, shaken.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Hemmer looks to land a left hand but Collings moved out of range nicely.
Collings shoots for a double leg takedown but Hemmer sprawls well. He's pushed Collings's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hemmer throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Collings to counter with a crisp jab.
Collings on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hemmer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some wild striking there from Hemmer.
Collings slips a straight right by Hemmer.
Hemmer throws a hook but Collings blocks it.

Collings fails with a takedown attempt.
Hemmer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Collings ducks under a wild hook from Hemmer.
Collings throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hemmer's waist but Hemmer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Collings off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Norman Collings. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hemmer throws a leg kick but Collings checks it.
Hemmer lands a nice shot to the body.
Collings is breathing heavily.
Collings misses with a head kick.
Hemmer looks to land a left hand but Collings moved out of range nicely.

Collings tests Hemmer's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hemmer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hemmer tries to clinch but Collings moves out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Hemmer misses the target.
Collings misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hemmer dips to his left and cracks Collings with an uppercut!
Hemmer fails to land with a series of punches.

Collings swats away the attempt to clinch by Hemmer.
Collings changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hemmer tries to avoid it but Collings manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hemmer to the ground. Hemmer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hemmer misses with the combination.
Collings falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hemmer counters with a nice low kick that buckles Collings's knee momentarily.
Collings takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Norman Collings has been cut.
Hemmer throws a jab but it's blocked by Collings.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Collings doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Hemmer counters by moving into the clinch.

Hemmer breaks the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hemmer throws out a loose jab but Collings uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hemmer lands a left and a right that send Collings crashing to the mat, dazed. Hemmer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hemmer punishes Collings's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hemmer feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Collings crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
