And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big shoots in and drives through. Samuels sprawls well.
Samuels lands a jab to Big's midsection.
Samuels avoids a punch combination nicely.
Big jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Samuels tests Big's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Samuels lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Samuels shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Big manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Big is rocked!
Samuels sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Big's guard.
Big is still in real trouble! Can Samuels finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Still in half guard, Samuels seems content to control.
Big seems to have recovered his senses.
Samuels is keen to just control but Big is a slippery customer.
Samuels drops an elbow to the side of Big's head.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Samuels connects with a nice short shot to Big's temple.
Samuels scores with a big shot! Big's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Big! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
