The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OMalley shoots in for a double leg but Kuosmanen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
OMalley missing with a left hand there. Kuosmanen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
OMalley misses with the combination.
George OMalley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuosmanen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Kuosmanen instigates a clinch.

Kuosmanen pulls OMalley into guard.
OMalley wants to stand but Kuosmanen is controlling his posture from full guard.

OMalley pushes Kuosmanen off looking to stand but Kuosmanen dives back in and keeps control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
OMalley misses with a wild combination.
OMalley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kuosmanen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in OMalley's guard.
Kuosmanen passes OMalley's left leg - he's now in half guard.
OMalley pushes Kuosmanen off looking to stand but Kuosmanen dives back in and keeps control.
